Paul Crane has been a practising solicitor in Coffs Harbour for over 40 years. It is with great pride that he now acts for the second and third generation descendants of his original clients.
The majority of clients seek Paul’s advice in the area of estate planning, superannuation and trusts, probate and administration of estates particularly the challenging areas of complex wills incorporating testamentary trusts and claims against estates by disappointed beneficiaries. It is his care and guidance on sensitive personal issues that is most often noted in referrals to the practice.
Paul is actively involved in many community agencies. He is a member of the Board of the Sawtell Catholic Care for the Aged, the largest retirement complex between Port Macquarie and Ballina. He was previously a member of the Board of Coffs Harbour Support Services, a leading Not for Profit community organisation which provides a range of services to people with disabilities, living on the Mid North Coast of NSW.

Paul holds a Bachelor of Laws from Sydney University and a Bachelor of Commerce from James Cook University. He is a trained mediator, probity advisor and a member of the NSW Law Society and the Institute of Public Administration Australia (NSW division).
Under the mentorship of Paul Crane, Karen has completed an Associate Degree in Law (Paralegal Studies) from Southern Cross University and is now a Certified Practicing Conveyancer. Karen is currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Laws and Business.
Karen is a member of the Australian Institute of Conveyancers (NSW Division) and is fully PEXA certified.
Commencing at Crane Law in 2016, as a Conveyancing Paralegal, Karen’s work included domestic and commercial property transactions, leasing, wills and estate administration.
As part of the relocation and reorganisation of the Paul Crane Lawyer enterprise, Karen is now operating within Lewis + Crane Pty Ltd, in collaboration with Paul Crane.
With a background in the property industry including strata management, property sales and management and having been involved in family and estate law both as a professional and personally, Karen understands the importance of sensitivity, compassion and honesty in the provision of legal services.
Karen compliments her experience by understating and practising the need to discuss legal matters in a down to earth, easy to comprehend manner. Regular updates are provided to all her clients in a timely and concise manner to ensure a less stressful but positive outcome.
